Additional Admissions Info
Priority given to Alameda Residents...
According to the ACLC charter, Alameda residents are given preference in admission to the school. Alameda residents help support the school through their Measure A property taxes.
Children of staff and Board members, along with siblings of current learners are also given admission preference.
If you live outside of Alameda...
While Alameda residents receive priority in the admission process, residents of neighboring communities have been admitted to all grade levels, depending on availability.
If you are not a resident of Alameda, please don't hesitate to apply. Many children from outside Alameda have had the opportunity to attend our school.

NO TUITION & NO FEES
ACLC is a tuition-free, public charter school.
Despite the remarkable quality of education ACLC offers, there is no tuition and no fees are required to attend the school.
The absence of tuition and fees is especially notable in light of the extraordinary success ACLC high school graduates experience in gaining admission to selective 4-year colleges and universities.
While not required, most of our parents choose to give to ACLC's non-profit educational foundation, the Creative Community Education Foundation (CCEF).
Similar to a PTA, CCEF raises tax-deductible funds towards vital academic and enrichment offerings at ACLC.
