Community Service
Taking positive action and becoming a contributing member of society are important values at ACLC.
With this in mind, all learners at ACLC are required to complete at least 20 hours of community service each year. Every year, many learners go far above and beyond this requirement, dedicating themselves to hundreds of hours of community service in an effort to make their school, community and world a better place.
Middle and high school learners who show the most dedication to ACLC's community service values are recognized each year with a Facilitator Service Award at our 8th Grade Promotion and Senior Graduation Ceremonies.
Our history shows that experiences gained in fulfilling the ACLC Community Service Requirement help spark and nurture a commitment to civic involvement. After college, many ACLC alumni seek and find employment in fields that benefit specific communities and the broader public.
