Complete the online Grant Request Form at least one month before you need the funds.  If your request is submitted less than a week before the board meeting, it may be postponed to the next meeting.

The CCEF Board may review requests under $500 during the Open Funding period at the end of each board meeting.  These proposals aren't listed on the agenda, and time to present is not guaranteed.  

Tips for the Application:

• Provide detailed and thorough answers to all questions.
• Ensure you have any necessary leadership approval before submitting.
• After submitting, CCEF will contact you or further information or confirm a spot on the board meeting agenda.  If you don't receive an email, reach out to the CCEF Secretary at ccef.secretary@ccef-aclc.org

At the CCEF Board Meeting, you (and any co-applicants) will have up to 5 minutes to present your proposal - 3 minutes for the presentation and 2 minutes for questions.

Tips:

• Be well-prepared to answer questions and provide context about your project or event.
• You are expected to present at the Board Meeting.  Board Meetings will likely have questions about your project/event/activity, so you and your co-applicants need to be there to answer questions and provide context.

Possible Outcomes:

• The Board may approve, reject, or table your request (if more information is needed).
• They may offer a matching grant, requiring you to fundraise in addition to the CCEF funds.
• For proposals involving non-CLCS learners, funding may be proportional to the number of CLCS participants.

If approved, you'll receive an email with instructions on how to access your grant funds.

If your event, activity, or product is funded, please acknowledge CCEF in any promotions.  You can include "Sponsored by CCEF" on announcements, flyers, signs, or mention it verbally at your event.

After completing your project or event, fill out the CCEF Grant Completion Review and Reimbursement Form and upload your receipts within 14 days.  

Important Notes:

• Receipts are required for reimbursement and must be submitted online.  Paper copies are not accepted.
• Reimbursement may take up to four weeks.  The Treasurer will issue a check that will be physically mailed to the person to be reimbursed.
