Cell Phone and Device Policy

Rationale: To create a focused learning environment.
 
Policy:

Put cell phones and other personal electronic devices in backpack or bag before or as soon as you enter the classroom, unless instructed by your facilitator to get them out. If you have your personal electronic device(s) (e.g. cell phone, headphones, or smart watch/device) out while in class, your item(s) will be confiscated and turned in to the office by the end of the day.

Consequences:

1st Violation: Learners can collect their item(s) in the office at the end of the day after signing an acknowledgement of the policy.

2nd Violation: Guardians will be contacted and must pick up the item(s).

3rd Violation: There will be a Guardian-Learner-Administrator meeting.

4th Violation: Learners will turn in their item(s) to the office before the start of school each day and collect after dismissal.
