Why she works
where he works:
I enjoy
collaborating with other adults as well as with young people to make
school a place where people really want to be.
Teaching
credentials and experience:
I have 19 years teaching experience, 16 of those in Alameda public
schools. I was at Wood Middle School for 14 years teaching
Spanish and seventh-grade humanities core. During the most
recent two years I taught Spanish 1, 2, and 3 at Alameda High School.
I hold a Spanish credential with authorizations to teach
several other subjects including journalism and anthropology as well as
a Multiple Subjects credential.
Thoughts
about ACLC:
I’m excited about working in a very different kind of school. The
people here are all about making learning work for everyone.
In a very short time I am developing rewarding relationships
with learners as well as with other adults. I’m looking
forward to this year.
