ACLC Graduation Requirements

ACLC graduation requirements actually exceed the University of California A - G requirements.

We want our graduates to have the option to fulfill their college dreams!

Total Units Required for Graduation: 230

English (40 credits)
• 9th Grade
• 10th Grade
• 11th Grade
• 12th Grade

Math* (30 credits)
• Algebra I
• Geometry
• Algebra II
       *3 years of high school math

Science (40 credits)
• Chemistry
• Biology
• Physics

History (30 credits)
• Modern World History
• U.S. History
• American Government (1 semester)
• Economics (1 semester)

Visual & Performing Arts (10 credits)
• One Year

College Preparatory Electives (10 credits)
• One Year

Foreign Language (20 credits)
• Year One
• Year Two
(must be the same language)

Current Life Issues (5 credits)
• Current Life

Physical Education or ROTC (20 credits)
• Year One
• Year Two

Other Requirements
• Meets or exceeds AUSD/ACLC Graduate Profile outcomes
• Meets or exceeds ACLC Learning To Learn Skills
• Senior Portfolio Website
• Senior Project
• Community Service Requirement (80 hours - 20 hours per year of high school)
• Advanced Coursework/Units of College Credit or AP
• 20 hour Business Internship Experience 
• Math High School Exit Exam
• English/Language Arts High School Exit Exam
