In the course students develop literary critical analysis skills, critical writing skills, editing skills, and engage in explorations of themselves and their cultures.  Students read, discuss, reflect and write about a variety of texts – including poetry, the short story, the novel, drama, and nonfiction– as they strive to understand what these texts reveal about modern culture.
